    Fifteen miles south of Alexandria, Louisiana, lies the Claiborne Multiple-Use Trails.

    Riding
    We have established approximately 70 miles of designated multiple-use trails which are available for an enjoyable experience for OHV riders as well as hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers.
    Vehicles
    Camp Area is 5 mph for all OHV's, motorcycles and vehicles.
    Season
    Day Use Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or daylight to dark.
    Camping
    Boy Scout camp is designated for use by motorcycle campers. source

  2. 2. Sandstone Multiple-Use Trails

    Forty miles north of Alexandria, Louisiana, lies the Sandstone Multiple-Use Trails.

    Riding
    We have established approximately 36 miles of designated multiple-use trails which are available for an enjoyable experience for OHV riders as well as hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers.
    Vehicles
    Camp Area is 5 mph for all OHV's, motorcycles and vehicles.
    Season
    The Sandstone Multiple-Use Trails are closed every year from January 2 until the first weekend of May.
    Camping
    Additional staging is available at Cane Camp (horses only) and Corral Camp for OHV camping.

    The day use and trail use passes entitle you to unlimited day use in participating fee areas forest-wide for one year from month of issue.
