Team List for 2007-’08 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series
The Team to Beat Looks to be Defending Champs Danny Smith (’07) and Chad Johnson (’06) with the TUF Racing/Honda Team
AURORA, Ill. (Nov. 2, 2007)
Fans of Toyota AMA Arenacross Series would be hard press to name a year when the field of racers starting the prestigious arenacross season was so deep. In fact, it’s safe to say that this year’s starting lineup – set to kick off tonight in Des Moines (Iowa) – may very well be the greatest cast of racers in the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series ever assembled.
With nearly a dozen racers returning that have been on top of a Toyota AMA Arenacross Series podium in the past couple years, fortified by another five or so racers coming in from AMA Supercross that have the potential to win, it’s going to be a moral victory for some athletes just to make the 16-man main event starting gate beginning tonight at Des Moines and running for another 18 races through the season finale in Green Bay, Wis.
Here’s an up-to-date look at the teams and racers that make up the 2007-’08 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series.
